FIORENTINA CIOCCOLATA FESTIVALE

I am officially a chocoholic.
SANTA CROCE'S FAMOUS CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
This weekend I went to a chocolate festival in Florence! We walked along the Arno river and then over to Piazza Santa Croce, to a huge grouping of tents with stands from famous and fine choclatiers from all over Europe! There were 4 main rows of chocolate vendors making it was delicious madness inside!
MOUNDS OF DELICIOUSNESS
The booths had everything from cioccolata to truffles to chocolate sauce and everything in between. Some booths went all out, including one with a huge chocolate dragon. Another booth had different animals, such as a park bench with a street lamp, made out of chocolate. There were chocolate kebabs, and chocolate cell phones, chocolate villages and chocolate roses; everything you could ever think of!
THE CHOCOLATE VILLAGE
CIOCCOLATA DELICIOSA!
BEAUTIFUL CHOCOLATE ROSES
We ate tons and tons of free samples and drank chocolate liquor (which Caroline thought was hot chocolate and downed it all in one gulp, yikes!) Also, In Italy they have a drink called "Cioccolata" which is basically melted chocolate in a cup. I had to get one. It was soooo good but it was a chocolate overload!..At least for the day seeing as we went back on Saturday and Sunday.

  1. Dad needs Florentine chocolate, please deliver urgently. Must be varied dark flavors, interesting design, and high volume. Maximize yum-yum factor. Chop chop, ciao, Dad.
